New England Central (NECR) has been a large tree cleanup project along the Roxbury Subdivision from the southern end of the state to St Albans. In the past this type of job was only done by a hyrail excavator with a cutting implement. For this job, Rotor Blade, a areal vegetation management company was hired for the job. The tree trimming was done using a Hughes 369D and a 10 bladed saw that hung from the helicopter. Many passed were made at different altitudes to get lower/higher along the trees.
