Shakedown run of the 2022 Kyosho Optima Mid. ????

I few thoughts on the electronics I used in this build. Up until now every buggy I have build uses brushed motors and cheap 1060 (or equivalent) ESCs. (in part to keep costs down as all my buggies are runners, because I only use NiMH and also because brushed is what I know best ????)

But for the Mid I thought I'd splash out ????and go for the Le Mans 240S ESC and 15.5T brushless motor. And to be honest, I've been somewhat underwhelmed. ???? I had expected more speed, but it is noticeably slower than the G15 brushed single/Hobbywing 1060 combo in my Optima/Javelin and marginally faster than the G20 brushed motor. ????‍♂️

The ESC and Motor look the part though! ???????? ????
