The Philippine Navy acquired new torpedoes for Jose Rizal class frigates, standard 8 why only 4 per ship

According to a report from maxdefense philippines some time ago, the Philippine Navy and DND have initiated the acquisition of the Torpedo for the Jose Rizal class frigate under the Frigate Lot 3A Torpedo Acquisition Project.

Maxdefense said the project was not for public offering as PN had been negotiating the LIGNex1 K745 Blue Shark light anti-submarine torpedo from South Korea.
