The Redcat Thunder Drift!
Soooo many people ask about what kind of drift car to get for their first.
The easy answer is to recommend the MST RMX2.0S RTR, or the Yokomo Yd2 kit. Both are great RWD dedicated drift chassis...but neither hit that under $300 mark either.

What do people then naturally gravitate towards? Something like a Tamiya TT-02D that is really a touring car chassis which someone slapped some drift wheels on and called it a drift car. It is NOT a drift car!

Although this initial drive of the car left a little to be desired - especially when comparing it to my MST RMX, more drives has started to get me to like it more.
