This is my 2nd attempt at a scratch built remote controlled airplane, and this is my 1st time with a working original design! The idea behind it being a private jet came from when I bought a beat up fighter jet model from my friend, and I salvaged its two brushless EDF engines and ESCs. This model is much more complex than my 1st design (which is literally a triangle), and it also takes the cake as my largest RC plane yet, being my first non-micro model. It still has a couple problems (tailheavy, low yaw stability), so I will be sure to work those out. But it flew much better than expected, and since I was able to fly it, control it, and bring it in for a safe landing, I would consider this scratch build a success!
