RC Plane Decals for Newbies!

Decals are a quick and easy way to add text, numbers and graphic images to your RC plane. With any home computer and a graphics program (Keynote, PowerPoint, Photoshop, etc.) you can easily make these graphics, size them to your RC model airplane and print out on special water slide decal water paper for application on your model.

The decal paper and clear spray sealer can be purchased on Amazon or our local craft store.

The video covers the key differences between transparent and solid white decal paper, and the effect of a light or dark background for the decal. I use transparent decal paper for the majority of my work. The video shows an excellent demonstration on a yellow and dark blue background.

Finally, the video shows a neat trick on using a white background (plastic iron on covering or trim Monokote) under a transparent decal needing white coloring.
