Main components
4 x Poundland Nasal Hair Removal kits for the 4 DC motors
4 plastic wheels from a cheap toy car
Small plastic box for the body
Suitable wire to connect the components
Toy grade RC transmitter and receiver - the one I used couldn't handle the curent draw and died
Hobby grade transmitter and receiver and 2 ESCs - the ESCs I used were probably working at their limit due to the current draw and would probably burn out if you run this for too long.

Main Tools
Soldering iron
Hot Glue Gun
Wire Strippers or cutters

A better design would use gears to connect the motors to the axles giving better torque and less strain one each motor. Putting the wheels directly on the motor shaft of an ungeared motor is asking for trouble.
