I’m a complete beginner at RC, I bought a Tamiya Sand Scorcher 1/10 buggy: now what do I need to get it running? Controller, battery, receiver, speed controller, recharger, servo - there’s a lot of stuff, and I know nothing about it! So I spoke to an RC expert at Metro Hobbies. This video explains all the accessories and extra equipment you’ll need to finish your RC build and get it racing! There are also some important safety tips as well.

I will admit up front, I can’t help you with expert questions above what is discussed in this interview with Vasco. As I said to Vasco before we began: “Honestly, assume I'm a three year old and know absolutely nothing about RC and start from the basics!”.
