Beschrijving: Picked up this Giant Scale C-130 Hercules from a good friend of mine. Thank you Mike! This is my maiden flight of this plane, although the plane has seen many flights from it's previous owner. She flies fantastic! Handles like a dream in the sky, although a few times in the turns, I could feel the weight in the sticks! The wind was about 15 mph. Upon landing, I engaged full flaps, cut the throttle and settled in for a nice approach. Not being used to this plane, I under estimated the speed of the wind, the effect of the Full Flaps and I bounced her on landing. The wind picked it right back up with all that flap engaged and she smacked down on the front gear hard. The gear mount gave way, but the damage is minimal and should be repaired quickly! I had an absolute blast flying this C-130! Quite a Thrill for sure! Thank you everyone who came out on this windy day to share in my excitement of flying this beast!
