There was a stiff breeze today at the field and a lot of thermal turbulence so I thought I'd see how well the little DIY Sub-250 gram FPV model I built from foamboard would handle the conditions. The answer: pretty damned well! Our runway is about 1Km long and I flew to each end with no problems, then did a bit of low-level proximity just for fun! Brilliant!
