Hey everyone, I'm back with another unboxing for you. It's hard to believe there was a time when I said I wasn't going to do unboxing videos...but after doing one of them, I understood that many people like them. So I present to you the HBX 12891 Dune Thunder 4WD buggy. First things first...I dig the look of this thing. When I first saw the pictures online I wasn't a fan, but over time it has grown on me and I actually like the look more that the caged rock racers like the WLTOY 12428. That's a personal preference thing. The other reason I like it is that it is easy to get to the motor and electronics by just taking off four body clips. Can't say that for those caged rock racers. :)

Overall, what we've got here is a cool looking 1/12 scale RC for under $100. It has metal diff gears, but a plastic spur gear. It says it has bearings, but I haven't taken it apart to see if they used them at the hubs as well. Most of these seem to, so I wouldn't doubt it.
It really comes down to the test to see how what it can do and how it will hold up. Thanks for tuning in.
