A Thunder Tiger 50 running a Neu 1912 Thunder power packs and a Castle HV85 escThe Neu motor which is 2" long and 2" in diameter puts OUT peaks of 2400 watts or 3+hp (at 72 amps). Its tremendously wide range of efficincy means it can spool up (15amps) or hover (20amps) as efficiently as it does at peak power (92%) Everything comes home cool. The motor and pack both come home at 30 and 35 degrees celcius. This means the pack will last several hundred charges. And motor abnd esc damage is not a risk A 3300 discharge gives an 8 minute aerobatic flight. The kicker, which underlines the power and efficincy of this setup, the Heli weighs 8.8 lbs or 4kg!!!!
