Well it's a new year and a new RC for me which is the re-released version of the classic 1984 Tamiya buggy, the Hornet. Now the handling of this isn't very sophisticated but with a brushless motor it's a lot of fun. I'm using a shorty 2S lipo pack as it will fit in with only minor modifications to the battery tray. Other than the motor it's mostly stock. I have done a mod to the battery tray to stop it falling off. Thanks to Mike at RCing around for the idea. As you can see from the video, water and even some ice was not a problem for the mighty Hornet ! The tyres it comes with are great on wet muddy grass. Music is System F, Out of the Blue (I don't own the copyright, blah, blah). Filmed in New Forest national park UK using GoPro 3+. Thanks for watching :-)
