This A 380 RC Model with 4 operating jet turbines, built to Airbus Specification and drawings,
flew for the first time 2 years before the original Passenger plane.
This video documents the Safety tests taken before the 65 kg model was safety certified to fly.
Following this the successful maiden flight was observed and the full German license for models more than 25 kg was given.
The wing span is app 5.8 meter.
The builder / pilot is Peter Michel from Germany. At that time he had successful built and flown many Passenger Airliner Models.
