Hurray! First SUCCESS in measuring the top speed with the Carson 8T Tamiya Euro-Cup Brushless System and the Tamiya DT-02 Sand Viper!

The 60 kph equals approx. 37 mph. Before this video I tried out tow NiMH batteriesa and another LiPo with no good results. The short explanation is that the motor/ESC kept activating some kind of cut-off or protection system. I've had this one out running in the spring and summer off road without any trouble at all. But not on this day. The plan is of course to get it fixed somehow, and then also try it out with a 3S LiPo.

Anybody knows what is going on? Help would be appreciated.

Here it is running on a 7.4v 1500 mah 2S LiPo Battery with full Tamiya ball bearings, Tamiya 19T Steel Pinion and an 8T Carson Dragster 3 Tamiya Euro-Cup Sensorless Brushless Motor (stock is ball bearings, 17T alloy pinion and a 27T brushed silver can). The Louise E-Rocket Street Rear Tires are fitted for this test (no gear ratio change).
