Anyone else Wish Ford would build this one? We interviewed and walked around this amazing Mustang with Josh Lupu, director of Marketing for Webasto. Here is a 2019 Ford Mustang that has been switched to Electric power by Webasto. It features front and rear Electric batteries with plug in re-charging. The cool thing is they retained the original 6 speed transmission and the one-off custom build has an estimated 1000 Horsepower and 1000 Foot pounds of torque. There are no performance tests yet completed on this Pony but one can only imagine the blistering performance this car must be able to achieve. The car is fully functional and retains some of its trunk space and has a nearly 50\50 front to rear weight distribution.
Mustang Mach E will be coming out soon but that will be a 4 door based version of the Mustang in an SUV format.
